Welcome to Wildcats page!

We are already in our 1st spring term! 

We are super excited to be back after the Christmas and new year break and we have got stuck in straight away! 

This term, Wildcats will be joining Chipmunks as we go Swimming! We attend Northfield Swimming baths, and we will be attending every Thursday morning. Please ensure your child comes in with appropriate swim kits. Swimming costume  / shorts or trunks, a towel and a labelled swim bag. 

Home reading will now be on a Thursday afternoon. Please ensure your child comes in with their reading folder every week, ready to change. Please read with your child and write a comment each time you do. 

In Maths, we will be learning about Position and Direction.

In English, we are looking at the story, The Tiger who came to Tea.

In Science, we are learning about Living and Non - Living things.

In PE we will be learning Boccia and Curling. 

In Computing, we will be learning about Robots.

In Topic, we will be learning about WW2. (find out more on or class topics page about what we will be covering.)

The staff in Wildcats class are myself, (Teacher) Mrs Tombs, and we have 2 wonderful Teaching Assistants, Nichola and Sadia. Sadia is our HLTA in Wildcats, and covers on a Thursday and Friday. Sadia will cover Topic, Computing, and PHSE. 

We are following a 'Woodland' curriculum Pathway this year, and we will focus on all the core subjects, English, Maths, Science and also develop our own skills in PSHE and Topic.

Homework will be set, so please make sure you look out for this. One of the team will always keep you informed and updated.
