Our Summer 1 and 2 topics are based around 'houses and habitats'.

Throughout the next two terms the Squirrels will be looking at the ideas of houses and habitats. During Summer term 1 we will all focus on the idea of 'houses', this term will be broken down into themed weeks when we will look at our houses, houses on water, houses in cold countries as well as hot countries too! After the May holiday we will then move on to habitats, breaking each week down into themed weeks once again. Squirrels and the class team are really looking forward to Summer 2 as we will be able to look for habitats, explore different animals whom live in different parts of the world and a range of stories to support these! 

Summer 2 will be broken down into weekly themed weeks and will follow this order: Under the sea, Jungle, Rainforest, Arctic, Safari/desert. Up in the sky and Farms! How exciting!
