Today, the children in Sharks have been learning about the value of each digit using the denes. Sue’s group have been to learning to add numbers to 5. After break, we had our second Maths lesson of the day and the children were learning to add two numbers together using numicon. Sue’s group continued to add two numbers together to 5. Then on Friday in Maths, the children have continued their addition work. They have used playing cards and also objects to add two numbers together.
